Miller powers Canucks to OT win over Lightning
Myers scores short-handed goal, DeSmith makes 17 saves
Brock Miller was the hero for the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night, scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to lift his team to a 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Tyler Myers also had a big night for the Canucks, scoring a short-handed goal in the second period to give his team a 2-1 lead. Casey DeSmith made 17 saves to earn his eighth win of the season.
The Lightning had a chance to tie the game in the final minute of regulation, but Steven Stamkos' shot hit the post. Miller then scored his game-winner just 1:08 into overtime, giving the Canucks their second straight win.
The Canucks will now head out on a three-game road trip, starting with a game against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night.
